2009

  • January, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center partner with the California based Conejo Compassion Coalition to construct the 5600 square feet building block. Co-sponsors are Dr. Robert Bland, Rev. Dr. Stephen Mungoma and Mr. Charles Nangosia
  • April, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center received Conejo Compassion Coalition donates $2,000.00 to the Profess medical center through the United Way Worldwide to assist with construction
  • June, upon learning of critical need for clean water the Conejo Compassion Coalition donated $1051 to the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center for geological survey in preparation for drilling a well
  • September, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center and Conejo Compassion Coalition team traveled to Uganda to commission the drilling of a borehole well to provide clean drinking water for rural village in Eastern Uganda.
  • The Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center officially opens its doors for service.

2010

  • March, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center receives $1,500 from CCC for St. Thomas Comprehensive College to purchase text books for students who are currently sharing one book among up to 5 students.
  • June, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center received a donation of $1545 to purchase roofing tiles for the new addition block to the medical clinic.

2011

  • March, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center receives $1,835 from CCC for St. Thomas Comprehensive College to purchase laboratory equipment for science classes.
  • October, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center received $45,000 Grant from the Scott Smed Foundation in Canada to assist with construction of new medical block
  • December, The Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center founder Mr. Charles Nangosia and Dr. Robert Bland, the CEO Conejo Compassion Coalition traveled to Uganda to oversee construction of new medical center building.

2012

  • December, The Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center founder Mr. Charles Nangosia and Dr. Robert Bland, the CEO Conejo Compassion Coalition traveled to Uganda to oversee construction of new medical center building.
  • The team install an electric pump and water reservoir to provide running water to medical center and surrounding community.

2013

  • January, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center and Conejo Compassion Coalition adopts a needy child and sponsors him to attend St Thomas Elementary School in Busiu.
  • July, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center and Conejo Compassion Coalition completed the brand new 5,600 Sq ft addition building block
  • August, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center founder Charles Nangosia, Karol Nangosia, Kasey Watera and the Scott Smed Foundation founders Shannon Smed, Peter Smed, Elacy Smed, Kira Smed and Dr. Robert Bland, Dr. Richard Malfati, Mr. Victor Bracey and Lewis Bracey, delegation from the Conejo Compassion Coalition as well traveled Uganda for official inauguration ceremony for the new medical block.
  • August, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center and Conejo Compassion Coalition sponsored 4 additional children from Lwaboba and surrounding communities to attend school
  • November, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center and Conejo Compassion Coalition forms partnership with the US based The Greater Contribution to set up a microfinance program in Lwaboba, Uganda where the medical center is located

2014

  • February, first loans funded in Lwaboba through the microfinance program. The Greater Contribution made small loans to 41 women from the village to start businesses December, the Professor Wamukota Memorial Medical Center founder Mr. Charles Nangosia and Conejo Compassion Coalition board members Mr. Pedro and Elizabeth Perez traveled to Uganda and constructed a perimeter fence around medical center to provide added security for patients and staff.
  • The team put in place improved recordkeeping and reporting procedures
  • Dr. Jonathan Wagisi was recruited to form an advisory board for long term planning.
